Gorgeous vintage Alice Caviness brooch-pendant featuring purple, green and black rhinestones in a dimensional layered flower, suspending four strands of rhinestone-dotted fringe. Unusual and beautiful, with three layers of flower petals and rhinestones in marquise and teardrop shapes and round stones. The dangles are goldtone snake chain with pear shaped stones caught up with leaf caps, and each tassel ends with a dangling round rhinestone. Unmarked, but these brooches are widely attributed to Alice Caviness, and this is a beauty -- good quality and in nice vintage condition. One chain hangs crooked so that the side of it is visible rather than the front, but no other issues. 3 1/4" long and 2" wide. On back is a pin and also a loop at top for threading your chain through to wear as a necklace.
